Cabin Leader: Cristina “Pipa”
Hi! I am Cristina, I am from Spain and I’m so excited to be your child’s Cabin Leader during this week! I am currently studying for a degree in primary education to become a teacher at the University of Alcala in Madrid. I love music, especially singing, and I’m part of a scout group in Spain, which means I spend a lot of time in the mountains and out in nature! I also enjoy learning new languages, doing crafts, and volunteering in my community. This is my first time at Trout Lake Camp and I am really excited about it. I'm really looking forward to helping my campers to grow in their faith, feeling loved and encouraged by the Lord, and making unforgettable memories.
Cabin Leader Updates
Hi from Brown bear! It's been a great week. We're having so much fun and making amazing friends! It's a week to remember and we have so many things to tell you. These past few days we've been doing activities like rock climbing, although it was raining a lot, it was awesome! We also had a nail polish party, and our nails turned out great, we will show you when we get back! At the beginning of the week we felt shy about going to Chapel and dancing, and now it's amazing! We've learned that God is always with us even when we sin. We're super excited because today we have archery and swimming. We are going to the water obstacle course, which is huge!
We've only been here for two days, but it's been amazing! We are having such a fun time. On Sunday, we had pizza and it was so good! Then, each of us chose two skills classes, and we'll tell you all about them later, because they're so much fun! Yesterday was a great day, we went banana boating and it was incredible! Then we had a puzzle mystery activity. We thought it would be like an escape room and that we wouldn't enjoy it, but it turned out to be awesome! In Chapel, we're learning so much about ourselves and the kingdom of God, and we love the songs. We're super excited because today we have floor hockey and BB Guns as our activities. We'll tell you all about it later!
